Cell Phone User Reviews Can Tell You A lot About A Particular Phone

If you want to know how good a particular product or service is, go online and do a search. People start sites dedicated to trashing various products and sites all the time. You might find a site dedicated to whatever it is you’re search for. And people will trash the product, no matter what it is. No matter what the product or service is, or how good it is, there will always be that one person who had a horrible experience. However, these sites will also have people who post positive things about the products or services. When looking for cell phone quality, you need a lot of help. You want to talk to people who have used the various phones and you want to know what they liked and what they hated about the various phones they used. This is where cell phone user review sites come in handy. They allow you to hear from many different cell phone users and you’ll soon be able to see who had a horrible experience by chance and who had a bad experience because they just happened to buy a horrible phone.

Sorted By Brand And Model

Most of these sites make it easy for you to compare and contrast the various phones you have to choose from. For example, if you’re looking at a Motorola V3 phone and you can’t decide between that one and a Nokia 8100, the sites will likely have links that quickly take you to those particular reviews so that you don’t have to unnecessarily sift through reviews that don’t pertain to you. You can quickly compare and contrast models or just look for the phones that surpassed the others in how many positive cell phone user reviews they received.

Do Your Homework

You can find cell phone product reviews on consumer report sites, or you can get cell phone user reviews from the sites just mentioned; either way, make sure you look at many different sources before you make your decision. If you’re going to use these cell phone user reviews to make your decision on a phone that may cost you two hundred dollars or more, you want to know you’re getting accurate information. Imagine if you were the salesman of a certain phone, or even an executive of one of the companies who make the phones; what would stop you from going to these sites and posting many positive cell phone user reviews about that phone? By looking at many different cell phone user review sites, you should be able to get a good idea of which phones are worth your money.

Prepaid Cell Phone Review – A Look At Three Popular Plans

If you are in the market for a new prepaid cellular phone, then this prepaid cell phone review is exactly what you are looking for. I have taken the time to look at three of what I consider to be the best cell phones available and write up a quick prepaid cell phone review for each so that you can pick the one that best fits into what you need.

TracFone – Best Overall Of the Bunch

The first prepaid cell phone review is for the TracFone. They are one of the innovators and originators of the pre paid cell phone market. The good, and bad thing about TracPhone is that they only offer prepaid cell phones. This is good because they are very focused on the prepaid customers while other companies may have a tendency to let these customers slip as they already have their money in hand and generally speaking this is not where the companies make the most money. Because of this, TracFone offers unique and flexible plans to its customers so that you can have plenty of options for your phone. The bad thing is that TracFone is not one of the big wireless providers and rents cell tower time from other companies. In my experience I have been nothing but pleased with them however and rank them very high in my prepaid cell phone review.

Verizon – Coverage At Its Best

Next up in the prepaid cell phone review is the Verizon prepaid cell phones. The options and prices for these phones do not compare as favorably with others, but what they lack in features and cost they more than make up for in service. Verizon offers the best possible phone coverage and area for their phones. In addition the network that the phones are on is incredibly reliable so you can expect rock solid performance and reception with a Verizon phone. Again this is perfect if you are looking for an emergency phone. I rank this phone very high for this purpose in my prepaid cell phone review.

T-Mobile – Stay Away

I had one T-Mobile prepaid cell phone and it was nothing but trouble. I can not possibly tell you how frustrating the coverage was, how difficult talking to their customer service was, and how just in general awful the whole experience was. Given the choice I would stay far away from them and they rank poorly on my prepaid cell phone review.

Why Would I Want An International Prepaid Cell Phone?

There are many reasons why you would want to get an international prepaid cell phone. An international prepaid cell phone may not make sense for everyone, but there are people out there that can find a very good use for an international prepaid cell phone.

Getting An International Prepaid Cell Phone

If you have ever had to travel abroad for business or pleasure and come home to find a ridiculous cell bill with excessive charges from roaming minutes and long distance fees, the perhaps an international prepaid cell phone is just what you need to alleviate those costs. Firstly I would check to see how much you spent or plan on spending then seeing if you can find a phone that will be cheaper than what you expect to pay. While there really is not an international prepaid cell phone of choice, many prepaid cell phone providers offer options for international use. Check into these to see which plan best fits into what you will need. You can even look up prepaid cell phone reviews and apply those to the companies that offer international plans. These international prepaid cell phones should correspond with the regular phones as far as the reviews go.

If you are traveling with your family abroad, an international prepaid cell phone plan for multiple phones could be a very worthwhile investment. For around $10 a phone you have something that each of your children can use in case of emergency, or you can get in touch with them if need be. These are very handy especially if the kids are a bit older and want to go off and see their own thing. These phones provide a great and inexpensive way to stay in touch. The cost if you were using a traditional domestic cell phone plan to do this would be absolutely ridiculous, but if you can effectively keep all of your family members in touch there is no reason not to.

As you can see there are several compelling reasons for using an international prepaid cell phone over your regular phone when traveling to foreign lands. By having this disposable phone handy you can save yourself a fortune in fees and charges. In addition you do not have to worry nearly as much about losing, damaging, or getting the phone taken away as it really is just a disposable unit that you can use at your leisure.

The Best Prepaid Cell Phone – The TracPhone

I have used prepaid cell phones for a while and people always ask me what the best prepaid cell phone is. Well that really is a loaded question because much of that depends on what you are using the phone for and what your needs are. It really depends as many people will be using a prepaid cell phone for different things, some for emergencies, some for everyday use; even others have international prepaid cell phones for when they travel abroad. Again, determining what the best prepaid cell phone is in these cases can be very difficult as each person will see one set or sets of features as more important than the other. That being said, for me the best prepaid cell phone is TracPhone. The reason for that is they offer the features that I want regardless of where I am going and what I am doing with the phone.

Why The TracPhone Is The Best Prepaid Cell Phone

There are several things that for me make the TracPhone by far and away the best prepaid cell phone you can get. The first thing is how long the minutes are good for. With a Tracphone your minutes will be good for 3 months time. With many other phones you may only get a month or even less. This is a very important feature for any user. What this means is that no matter what, you can hold onto your phone for three months before having to re-up your minutes. In addition, you can pay so that the minutes on the phone never expire if you are willing to pay a bit extra. This is an amazing feature because it means that you only have to pay one price and can keep the phone active for as long as you want. While it may seem that this is only really useful to people using the phone for emergency purposes, the fact is that if you infrequently use the phone it is one less thing to think about.

The next thing about my TracPhone that makes it the best prepaid cell phone you get is how cheap the minutes are. You can get minutes for less than ten cents if you buy enough of them. I usually try to purchase as many minutes as I can and make sure that I have the no expiration feature on the phone so that I can just pay one cell phone bill per year. This usually will cover almost all of my talk time and I use the phone for personal use. Now I am not really a cell phone kind of guy, but if I need someone to get a hold of me or want to make a quick phone call it is a great option to have.

Finding Quality Prepaid Cell Phone Service

If you have decided to get a prepaid cell phone for emergencies, then you need to make sure that your prepaid cell phone service is incredibly reliable. There are many different brands and kinds of cell phones out there so you need to be careful in your choice.

Looking At Prepaid Cell Phone Service Areas

The first thing you want to make sure of is that you can use your phone wherever you are going to be. It is important that the prepaid cell phone service covers the entire area that you will be traveling or plan to be traveling in. Even if it only once in a while you want to make sure that this phone will have coverage especially considering most people get the phones for emergencies. The prepaid cell phone service area should be described in your contract that you sign up for so make sure that this has what you want before you pay any money.

On top of the physical area that the prepaid cell phone service covers there is the consideration of how good the company’s coverage of that area is. There are many prepaid cell phone service plans you can get out there, but in my experience if you are truly looking for the best coverage I would go with a prepaid cell phone service that owns the equipment that they are using. Verizon and any of the major phone companies are good choices. When a company rents out the equipment, if there is problems it can take them time to correct it. I have seen issues moving from tower to tower on some of the lesser known and named companies. I would avoid these if possible.

So there you have the things to consider when looking at prepaid cell phone service coverage areas. How these correspond to what you need will determine what the best prepaid cell phone is for your uses. I know myself that Verizon and Sprint phones work very well in my area, so I usually look for prepaid phones from them or phones that use their networks. Where you live it may be T-mobile or Virgin Mobile and you should look for phones from those companies. If you do an internet search for prepaid cell phone service and your area you should be able to find some reviews of what works and does not work in your area. Start here and then narrow down your choices based on your needs.

Things To Look For In Prepaid Cell Phone Plan

If you are in the market for a prepaid cell phone, then there are some things you need to have in your plan to truly maximize your use and spending for the phone. Not all prepaid cell phone plans are created equal and some have significant advantages over others. If you are not familiar with prepaid cell phone plans then this may be difficult to spot or find. I have had prepaid cell phone services for years and I can tell you there are some things I absolutely wished I had looked for in the beginning.

What You Need In Your Prepaid Cell Phone Plan

The first thing I always look for in my prepaid cell phone plan is how long the minutes are good for. There are some that are only good for a month, and others that range up to three months. Depending on price, I would recommend for the longest that you can possibly find, with three months being ideal. If you have a phone and the minutes are gone after a month, you probably are better off looking at a pay per month plan as opposed to a prepaid cell phone plan.

The next thing that may not be readily obvious in a prepaid cell phone plan is how long you have after the minutes expire to refresh and activate the phone. This is important because in general once the phone deactivates there is no way to reactivate it. I have seen plans that only offer a ten day grace period, but some can offer as much as six months. Again this will be totally up to you, but I would look for as long as possible on this as well so that you can keep the same number and same phone. Most of the expense in using prepaid cell phone plans is in the actual phone, so the longer you can guarantee you have the same one the better off you are.

Obviously both of these options have to be weighed against the cost for minutes to refill your phone. A phone with dirt cheap minutes probably will not have the best extra features that you can find, so you really have to balance out what is most important to you. Keeping in mind these two things however will keep you with your phone for longer, and that is definitely important, regardless of what your intention or use of the phone is.

Hopefully now you have a better idea of what to look for when you are shopping prepaid cell phone plans.

Why A Prepaid Cell Phone Is A Good Choice

If you have considered getting a prepaid cell phone but are not sure if they are a good idea, then perhaps you have not been looking at them hard enough. There are many reasons to get a prepaid cell phone, as well some reasons not to. Cell phones have become a needed part of everyday life and with that many of the pricing and plans have spiraled out of hand. A prepaid cell phone plan is a good option for someone who is trying to get their bills under control.

How A Prepaid Cell Phone Can Help You

First off a prepaid cell phone is a fixed cost in that once you run out of minutes there is no credit card or bill to charge to, the phone simply shuts off. For some people, especially children, this is a great option. However if you are planning to use you cell phone for business this is probably not a good thing. You probably would not want the phone to run out of minutes right before or during and important call. But if you are using it for personal use then this is great.

Secondly you will not get charged for any features that you do not use. Many non prepaid cell phones do not offer the option to roll over minutes so any minutes that you do not use will end being wasted. You paid for that as part of your plan and now it is gone. With the prepaid cell phone you just simply have to refill if it runs out, and can use your minutes right up until they are used up. This means that you always will be able to use the phone up to its potential.

Another great feature of the cell phone is how inexpensive it is. For less than 10 dollars a month you can have a phone on you at all times. Now you will not be able to use this as you main phone, but if you need it in an emergency a prepaid cell phone is very handy to have. For those of us that would love to have a cell phone but do not feel they are affordable or cost effective, a simple prepaid phone can give you all the advantages with very few of the negatives.

As you can see, for personal and emergency use a prepaid cell phone offers those with limited incomes or budgets the ability to take advantage of the global cell phone networks without having to get roped and strapped into a long term contract and significant financial commitment.

Searching For That Best Cell Phone Review

Using prepaid cell phones or cell phones where you’re under contract has become so commonplace that even little kids have cell phones these days. Even the elderly have them, which is almost unheard of whenever new technology comes out that they didn’t use when they were younger. Everyone has a cell phone and everyone always wants the newest cell phone with all the bells and whistles. Whenever you see someone with a new phone, you want that phone. But do you? Before you buy a cell phone, search for the best cell phone reviews. When someone finds a phone they absolutely love, a phone that can’t wait to use, a phone they can’t wait to tell others about; they will write a best cell phone review for all to read. However, there are also those who are hired by companies to advertise for the companies in this manner. These associates will write phony best cell phone reviews to amp up hype for a particular phone even when that phone’s horrible.

When you find a best cell phone review site, you’ll likely find that the best cell phone reviews are separated by phone, company and even service provider. This makes it very easy for you to search for particular best cell phone reviews instead of searching through a bunch of reviews that don’t pertain to you.

Why Did They Like It?

Keep in mind when reading best cell phone reviews that not everyone has the same criteria as to what constitutes a good phone. Someone may love that the phone emits a loud beep whenever the battery is about to die while someone else may hate that. Someone may love that a phone is so tiny that it fits in your pocket while someone may hate that they drop it because of the fact that it is so small. You should be able to keep an eye out for best cell phone reviews that are made because of something that you would like in a phone.

Bad Experience

In a similar light, watch out for bad experiences by people who didn’t know how to use the phone or by people who wanted something that you don’t really care about; or someone who hated something that you may not care about. These types of bad experiences don’t pertain to you so make sure you disregard these reviews. By only looking at the best cell phone reviews that pertain to you, you should be able to get a good idea of the phone that’s right for you.

Beware When Buying Games On Your Cell Phone

Cell phone games are perfect for waiting rooms, airports, or when you just have a little time to kill. They’re always available, they occupy your time and you can always download more when you get sick of playing them. There are always new games coming out and you can search for them, download them and begin playing them within minutes with any cell phone. However, not all games are created equal. Some games are simply not worth the five dollars or more that you pay for them. And if you don’t like the game, you’re stuck with it. To make matters worse, when you search for games on your phone, unless you have web access, you are usually given just a small snippet of what that game is about. It doesn’t give you a screen shot, an idea of the difficulty of play or anything. If you decide you don’t want the game and then order more, those quickly add up on your bill. A good way to find out which games are worth the money you pay for them, look at some cell phone game reviews so that you can determine what actual users thought instead of reading a small snippet likely written by the company who made the game.

Good Vs. Bad

When you’re looking for anything based on reviews, you have to decide what it is you want. This goes for games or anything else. If you’re looking for the best cell phone review, for example, you want to search the phone reviews that deal with the phone you want.

When it comes to cell phone game reviews, decide what it is you’re looking for in a good game. Some people like sports games while others loathe them. Some like fighting games while others like strategy games. Some want ultra realistic graphics while others don’t care. Everyone has different preferences but you should decide what it is that you want so that you can quickly get to the cell phone game reviews that pertain to you. There are cell phone game reviews all over the internet. Once you know what you’re looking for, and which types of games you’re more likely to buy, you can start reading cell phone game reviews to find that ultimate game.

Cell phone game reviews are written by people like you, someone who just wants a game to kill some time while they’re waiting to be called back to the dentist chair. They want a game that will hold their attention while they’re waiting for their number to be called at the DMV. And most of all, they want a game that’s worth the money they pay for it. Pay attention to why people didn’t like the games they didn’t like, and why the liked the ones they did. You’ll quickly get a good picture of which games are good, based on your criteria, and which ones you’ll hate and probably just end up deleting after you’ve already spent seven dollars on them.

Cell Phone Product Reviews: Do You Really Want That Accessory?

Cell phone accessories are as abundant as the variety of phones themselves. Any cell phone you buy has quite a few accessories that you can buy with it. Of course you probably don’t need all of these accessories but it can be tempting to get everything possible that goes with your phone so that you know you’re utilizing it to its full capabilities. When you get a phone, check out some cell phone product reviews to see if the accessories available for your phone are worth the money. You may find that a couple are worth having but you definitely should pass on the others available for your particular phone. You can find these cell phone product reviews on various consumer report websites or even in consumer report magazines.

What To Look Out For

Before you go by cell phone product reviews, make sure the website is independent. No matter what you’re looking for (you could be looking at cell phone game reviews), there is always the chance that the maker of a particular product will release a site dedicated to reviewing similar products. Of course their product is going to come out ahead in every review. The sites are disguised to look unbiased but they are in fact just elaborate advertisements for their products or services. Watch out for sites like these. You can get a good idea of which ones are true cell phone product reviews, and which ones are fake by paying attention to the reviews to make sure they’re not skewed one way or the other.

Bad Reviews

Bad news travels faster than good news. When you have a horrible experience at a restaurant or with a car, or anything else, you can’t wait to tell others what a bad time you had. When your friends recommend going out to eat and someone mentions that restaurant where you had a bad time, you’ll probably blurt out, "Oh, I wouldn’t eat there." Even if your bad time was no fault of the restaurant itself (maybe you were just in a bad mood), you want to spread the news about how horrible that restaurant is. These cell phone product review sites are no different. You’ll likely see more bad reviews than good, but you can still probably be able to tell the difference between a cell phone product review that’s negative because someone wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed and which ones are because the product was bad.

ID 10 T Error

Whenever you’re reading reviews on anything technical, such as cell phone product reviews, you want to make sure the people writing the reviews actually read the instructions and knew how to use the products correctly. It may be the person just deserved an ID 10 T Error. That’s idiot for those not in the tech field. These user difficulties probably add up to most negative cell phone product reviews so try to weed these out as well when deciding whether to load up on all the available cell phone products for your phone.
